Garment intake and inspection
When garments are dropped off, each item is individually inspected by our staff. Care labels, fabric type, construction, and any visible stains or concerns are noted before cleaning begins.
Items are then entered into our system and assigned a tracking barcode. This allows garments to be monitored throughout the cleaning process and ensures accuracy from intake to return.
Customer preferences and special instructions are recorded at this stage. For example, dress shirts may be designated for no starch, light starch, or heavy starch based on individual preference.
Sorting and preparation
After inspection, garments are sorted according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements. This step is important because different fabrics respond best to different cleaning methods.
Stains that require attention are identified so they can be treated using methods appropriate for the fabric before cleaning begins.
Professional dry cleaning
Garments are cleaned using professional dry cleaning equipment and specialized cleaning solutions. These solutions are effective at removing oils, soils, and residues while being gentler on fabrics than traditional washing.
Because water is not used in the same way as home laundering, dry cleaning helps preserve structure, reduce shrinking, and protect finishes on garments such as suits, dresses, uniforms, and specialty items.
Finishing and inspection
Once cleaning is complete, garments are pressed or finished according to established standards and customer preferences. Each item is reviewed to ensure it meets quality expectations before being prepared for return.
Finished garments are organized and placed on our conveyor system so orders remain accurate and complete.
Ready for pick Up or delivery
After final inspection, garments are bagged and prepared for pickup at the store or returned through pick up and delivery service if enrolled.
